University Of British Columbia  scholarship 2025  is offering admission and free tuition to international students . Here are some available options:

Merit-Based Scholarships

• International Major Entrance Scholarship (IMES)
  -Value: $10,000 – $20,000 per year (renewable for up to three additional year

-Eligibility: New international students entering undergraduate programs directly from secondary              school.

• Outstanding International Student (OIS) Award
  – Value: $10,000 – $25,000 (one-time award)
  – Eligibility: New international students entering undergraduate programs directly from secondary school or post-secondary institutions.

Automatic Awards

• UBC Okanagan International Welcome Award
  – Value: $5,000 (applied to first-year tuition)
  – Eligibility: First-year international students accepted into a UBC Okanagan degree program as their first choice

Need-and-Merit-Based Awards

• International Scholars Program

Four  scholarship available at  University Of British Columbia :

– Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award: recognizing exceptional leadership skills and academic achievement.

– Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award: recognizing outstanding students from impoverished or war-torn areas.
– International Impact Award: recognizing leadership in sustainability, climate change, and social justice
– Vantage One Excellence Award: recognizing academically outstanding students who don’t meet English Language Admission Standard.
– Eligibility: International students demonstrating financial need, superior academic achievement, and leadership potential.

To apply for these scholarships, you’ll need to:
– Apply to UBC by the admissions deadline to be considered for merit-based awards.
– Be nominated by your school or non-profit organization for the International Scholars Program (application deadline: November 15, 2024).
– Submit your admissions application to UBC by December 1, 2024, for the International Scholars Program.
