Lamar University USA scholarship 2025/2026 awards over 2,000 scholarships annually, valued at more than $20 million. Here are some available options for international Students.
Types of Lamar University USA scholarship 2025/2026
Presidential Scholarship:
- Full funding covering tuition, fees, room, board, and books for undergraduate students with exceptional academic records (minimum GPA 4.40, top 10% class rank, or SAT 1330+ / ACT 29+).
- Incoming Freshmen Academic Scholarships: Partial funding ranging from $8,000 to $40,000 based on GPA and SAT/ACT scores.
There are four tiers:
- Cardinal Elite Scholarship: $40,000 (GPA 4.25+, top 10% class rank, or SAT 1330+ / ACT 29+).
- Academic Excellence Scholars: $32,000 (GPA 3.95+, top 25% class rank, or SAT 1200-1320 / ACT 25-28).
- Distinguished Scholars: $20,000 (GPA 3.65-3.94, top 25% class rank, or SAT 1080-1190 / ACT 21-24)
- University Scholars: $8,000 (GPA 3.5-3.64, top 50% class rank, or SAT 1010-1070 / ACT 19-21).
- Southeast Texas Legends Scholars: Full scholarship covering tuition, fees, room, board, and books for students demonstrating financial need and exceptional academic achievement.
- Graduate Assistantships: Partial tuition waiver and $10,125 stipend for graduate students.
Eligibility and Application
- Incoming freshmen scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, and special skills.
- International students must submit SAT or ACT scores for consideration.
- Application deadlines vary, but priority consideration is given to applications submitted by January 15.
