Postgraduate Scholarships
1. Aziz Foundation Scholarship
Description
This scholarship supports Muslim students from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds at the University of Westminster. To qualify, you must be active in a Muslim community and demonstrate a deep understanding of issues affecting British Muslim communities. Full tuition fee waiver up to a maximum of 1 year.
Eligibility Criteria
You must be able to demonstrate long-term commitment to community/societal development within Britain

2. International Postgraduate Excellence Award September 2025.
The International Postgraduate Excellence Award is designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show passion for their chosen field of study. We’re offering scholarships for high-achieving international students, covering £3,000 towards your full time Master’s tuition fees.
Eligibility Criteria for applying at the University Of Westminster International Student Scholarship 2025
You must be classified as overseas fee status and hold an offer for a full time Masters course starting in September 2025 Please note that you are NOT eligible to apply for this scholarship if you fall into one or more of the below categories:
– for a Professional course such as RIBA part III
– Doctoral programme
– Are applying for an Online or Distance learning course
– Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma course
If you are eligible for any other discount on your course fees such as alumni discount or partner student discount.
Applicants need to have a minimum UK equivalent Good 2.1 Honours Degree to apply. Applicants will be selected principally on the basis of academic excellence.

3. Home Postgraduate Part Fee Scholarship
Description
One off £2,000 Tuition Fee Award paid directly to the University towards your tuition fees in your first semester. Students on two year postgraduate or Part time courses will receive the award for their first year only.
Eligibility
You must be classified as a Home fee student and hold an offer on a full or part time Masters course starting in September 2025 at the University of Westminster.
Have a 2.1 Honours degree.
You are not eligible to apply if you already have a Postgraduate degree.
Please note that if your course falls into one or more of the below categories then you are NOT eligible to apply for a scholarship:
Postgraduate Diploma
Professional courses (eg RIBA pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX)
Conversion courses (eg Graduate Diploma in Law)
Integrated Masters/MPhil/PhD students

Undergraduate Scholarships
1 Undergraduate Excellence Award
Description
The International Undergraduate Excellence Award is designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show passion for their chosen field of study, covering £2,500 towards the first year of your full time Bachelor’s tuition fees.
Eligibility
You must be classified as overseas fee status and hold an offer for a full time Bachelors course starting in September 2025.
Please note that you are NOT eligible to apply for this scholarship if you fall into one or more of the below categories:
- Bachelor’s programme with an integrated foundation year
- international Summer School or Study Abroad Programme
- If you are receiving sponsorship or funding from an external organisation or governmental body (this excludes student loan schemes such as US Federal Aid or Lanekassen)
- If you are eligible for any other discount on your course fees such partner student discount or EU Qualifications Award
Applicants must have accepted their offer at the University and made the University of Westminster their firm choice by 30 June

2. International Sporting Excellence Award
Description
The International School Excellence Award is available for undergraduate students who are currently studying or who have recently graduated from an International School based outside of the UK. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and show passion for their chosen field of study.
Tuition fee awards of between £2,500-£5,000 will be paid directly to the University towards your tuition fees in your first semester. Please note that you will only receive this award for the first year of your studies. Awardees will be liable for full fees in the subsequent years of their study but may be able to apply for additional funding through our Elite Athlete Programme once they have enrolled with us. This amount cannot go towards the £5,500 deposit payment required to secure your CAS (student visa).
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply applicants :
you must be of academy, national or international standard in any sport or show strong evidence of future outstanding potential
Be classified as overseas fee status
Be holding an offer for a full time Bachelor’s or Master’s course starting in September 2025 at the University of Westminster

Bachelor’s programme with an integrated foundation year
for an International Summer School or Study Abroad Programme
